We care for your animals as though they are our own.

I have always had a special connection with all animals, especially dogs, since I was very young. I have worked with dogs since 1986. I started bathing and drying dogs at a grooming store in Richmond and quickly learned to 'read dog'. Since then I have worked at a local pet food mart and learned about 'must have' pet accessories and nutrition. I went back to work at another local grooming shop and there I saw an opportunity to earn some extra cash as a part time walker. It turned into a full time job and in 1999 I decided to go out on my own and start my own 'K9 pack'. It was the scariest, but best, decision I ever made.

Most of the dogs we work with are high energy dogs who need to get out and run their beans off with their 'friends' and catch up on the local doggie gossip at the park.

These dogs are usually the ones who chew on the furniture, bark needlessly, steal, dig and destroy anything they can get their little paws and teeth into. They are also generally very smart and not given anything constructive to do, turn that energy into destructive behavior.

Some of the advantages of using a walking/day care service, such as mine, are:

• He/she will be happy and healthy (emotionally, mentally and physically).
• You can come home after work to a well balanced pet who has had the chance to play and interact with other dogs and people.
• Your pet will have learned how to behave in different social situations.
• They won't have to be alone for most of the day while you are at work.
• Most of all, they'll be calmer and a pleasure to be with.
